Praying the Scriptures

What does praying the Scriptures do in our lives?

  • It forces us to trust in God’s Word. After we identify the areas in our lives that we want to pray on, we are then forced to search for verses that deal with these topics.
  • It Builds our faith.

"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God."

- Romans 10:17

  • It guarantees we are praying truth. The reality of the truth in what you are praying is what gives power to our prayers.

“Sanctify them through thy word: thy word is truth."

- John 17:17

  • It aligns our minds and hearts with the Word of God.
