Johnny Saunders

Youth Pastor

Johnny Saunders serves as our 6th-12th grade Youth Pastor. Johnny, and his wife, Debbie, both grew up in our church. They were married in 1987 and have two boys, Garrett and Caleb. Both boys attend Seffner Christian Academy.

Johnny answered the call to preach on August 2, 2009. Before accepting the position of church Youth Pastor, Johnny was employed at SCA for 5 years. He stills holds the positions of Varsity baseball coach and assistant football coach.

As Youth Pastor, Johnny leads our Wednesday night youth services and schedules activities for our high school and middle school students. He is also involved in our church youth competitions, coordinates youth missions trips, and assists in the teen Sunday School class. He works hand-in-hand with the entire church staff in helping meet the needs of our church family. He is currently working towards a degree in ministry. Johnny considers it such a blessing to serve and worship at a place that has played such a significant part in his family’s lives.
